Land in December. Why wasn't this here before?

So, it has been too long since I have typed for you all. Today, I remembered while speaking with my new friend Janchai that we like pictures and we do not like to read… Perhaps I am assuming that the various baby steps are not so exciting for everyone. Pictures are needed and I am adding some here from December and last week, but know that they are only the land at bare.

Skyland. That's actually the name of the file This is the sky from the land in December. God is pretty amazing.

I personally think they are beautiful but sure am excited about food and people on the land- yeah, thats right.

Land in February. Notice the bushes below the cedar trees are no longer in bloom.

Insurance is covered on the land. The Fillauer’s have unofficially said we can cross their land to access our land. We have to figure out water and are working on it. LuAnn Carey and Bradley Central High School have agreed to do our starts for The Greenway Table and CGI’s East Street Community Garden.  The Bradley Co-op said today they would help me with some plants… now I gotta tell them what I want.

Now is the time where it will become quite obvious that I do not know much of anything and the plants will survive by the love of the land and the expertise of others. I am just a bridge. I got some Johnny’s seeds in the mail today!! It was unexpected and very exciting.

I here commit to take more pictures and make this approachable for anyone that would actually want to keep up with what is going on…. although, I am most certain that no one is yet at that point. This is fancy businesses… all of it. I know I wouldn’t be into reading all this if I was not writing it. Me taking more pictures means you’ll get pictures that follow me, not just The Greenway Table, but I try for most of what I do to be connected to sustainable living.
